Donna Sue West

Donna Sue West, age 56 of Elkhart passed away on December 30, 2021 at Bremen Hospital. Donna was born November 3, 1965 to Arlen and Betty Jean Vaughn in Elkhart, IN. Donna married Marlin E. West on February 5, 1983 at the log cabin at Heaton Lake in Elkhart, IN.

Donna formerly worked at Creation Windows and State Wide Aluminum. She and her husband enjoyed going to auctions, flee markets and yard sales, her true love was spending time with her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Marlin; their son Jamie West of Elkhart; her mom Betty Jean Vaughn; grandsons Johnathan and James West; her brother Mark Vaughn of Elkhart; sister Tammy (Bill) Vaughn Yoder of Chicago and her hard headed dog, Duke. Donna was preceded in death by her dad Arlen, her daughter Rhonda Sue West and her sister Vickie Brown.

Friends may visit with family from 10am -1pm on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 1pm at the funeral home. Donna will be laid to rest next to her daughter at Olive East Cemetery in Elkhart.
