Agnes A. Myers

Agnes A. Myers, 77, of Goshen, passed away at 9:00 PM March 15, 2009 at her home.

She was born December 12, 1931 in Arnett, OK to Charles and Elizabeth (Hosier) Campbell and married William L. Myers on May 17, 1952 in Ft. Collins, CO. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1988. Surviving are 2 sons, Michael (Jan) Myers of Ft. Worth, TX and William (Judy) Myers of Sacramento, CA; A son-in-law, Jerry Neer of Elkhart; 10 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren and a sister, Lillie Mae Drennan of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca A. Neer, on July 10, 1994, and 2 brothers, a sister and her parents.


Mrs. Myers was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Goshen. She was baptized into the church in 1966. She enjoyed bowling and golfing. She served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.


Friends may call from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd. Elkhart, where services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday. Her son, Bill Myers will officiate. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen with Tim Dooley officiating the graveside service.
