Aida Zarria

Aida Zarria, 90, of Elkhart, passed away, December 21, 2012 at the Hospice House of Elkhart. She was born June 21, 1922 in Quito, Ecuador to Segundo Roberto and Amelia Alejandrina (Altamirano) Ron.

Surviving are a son, Reuben (Leann Wrightsman) Zarria of Elkhart, a daughter, Ginny Jones of Mishawaka, 5 grandchildren, Renee Zarria, Richard Zarria, Rachael Peters, Allison Jones and Margaret Norris, and 8 great-grandchildren, Julia Zarria, Anderson Zarria, Ian Peters, Abigail Peters, Riley Mass, Casey Mass, Logan Mass and Lola Norris; 1 sister, Blanca Ron of Quito, Ecuador.

Aida retired as a paraprofessional from Elkhart Community Schools and was a member and Sunday School Teacher of Beulah Missionary Church since 1953.

Visitation will be from 11 am to 2 pm Wednesday at Beulah Missionary Church, Goshen where services will be held at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
