Amanda K. Kantz

Amanda K. Kantz, 90, of Elkhart, IN., passed away Monday Nov. 17, 2014 at Greenleaf Living Center, Elkhart.
She was born on Nov. 20, 1923 in Port Trevorton, PA to Percival and Mary (Yetter) Reichenbach.
On Jan. 13, 1944 in Selinsgrove, PA she married Charles J. Kantz who preceded her in death on May 8, 2007.
Surviving are a daughter Connie (Bill) Phillips of Canon City, CO., a son Dennis (Shirley) Kantz of Elkhart, granddaughter Tracy (Johnathan) Stern of Honolulu, HI., two sisters: Martha (Henry) Shaffer and Mabel (Steryl) Teats both of Port Treverton, PA. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters and a granddaughter.

Amanda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Charter member of the Precious Moments Club, an avid gardener and loved flowers.

Amanda will be entombed at Rice Cemetery next to her husband. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 2 to 4pm Saturday June 13 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart.
Memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church.
