Anna Ruth Sheldon

Anna Ruth Sheldon, 100 of Bristol, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Greenleaf Living Center, Elkhart.

She was born Feb. 1, 1916 in Caldwell, Idaho to Archibald and Bertha May (Rawlings) McClung. She married Jay Clinton Sheldon on Aug. 21, 1960 in Outlook, WA. He died in 1993. Surviving are a daughter, Donna L. (Karl) Swank of Bristol; 2 sons, Raymond Verne (Deloris) Fischer of San Manuel, AZ and Lewis Leland Fischer of Englewood, CA; 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Anna was a nurse’s aide at the Sunnyside (Washington) Hospital. She also was a member of the Bristol United Methodist Church.

Per Anna’s wishes, no services are planned. Her cremation has been entrusted to Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the funeral home website
