Anna D. Sparr

Anna Delee Sparr, 93 of Goshen, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 at Greencroft Center in Goshen.

She was born to Lee and Freda (Grandy) Whitezel in Converse, IN on December 7, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Eugene Sparr, her parents and many half-sisters and brothers.

Anna was a strong Christian and we know that the angels came and took her to meet her Savior.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Kay Klyn of Tuscon, AZ and Nancy (Don) Whetstone of Elkhart. She was Grandma Sparr to six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and her beloved cat Pretty Girl.

Anna worked at St. Joseph Valley Bank, Concord Eastside School and the office of Timberbrook. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She loved to sing and patented 2 songs that she wrote. There are photos of her taken with a tiger, a mountain lion and two wolves, showing that she was an avid animal lover.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Greencroft Goshen for taking wonderful care of Anna.
