Arlene K. Cox

Arlene K. Cox, 72, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away on May 5, 2018 in Mishawaka, IN. She was born on October 2, 1945 to Lawrence and Hazel (Fry) Rockenbaugh. She married William T. Cox on March 12, 1971 in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on November 18, 2007.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Joe) Whicker; her step-children, Lisa and Rich Cox, all of Elkhart, IN; 5 grandchildren; and a brother, Ivan (Opal) Rockenbaugh, of Millersburg, IN.

Arlene worked in the cafeteria of Miles Laboratories on Middlebury Street. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. She volunteered with the Red Cross and at Elizabeth Abel Food Pantry.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM Wednesday May 9 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 11 AM at New Hope United Methodist Church. Pastor Andy Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Elizabeth Abel Food Pantry at the Moose Lodge #599.
