Arthur W. Donaldson

Arthur W. Donaldson, 76, of Auburn, IN formerly of Elkhart, passed away Saturday Dec. 1 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was born Sept. 23, 1936 in Broughty Ferry, Scotland to Arthur W. and Violet G. (Bruce) Donaldson.

On June 18, 1960 in Granger he married Nancy G. Cornelius who survives along with 2 sons: Arthur W. (Angela) Donaldson of Gurnee, IL and Gordon S. (Jen) Donaldson of Elkhart, a daughter Kathi (Todd) Kidder of Garrett, IN, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Lee.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 11am service Wednesday Dec. 5 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart with Pastor Toby Kidder of River of Life Community Church presiding. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Arthur was an Electrical Engineer for Johnson Controls and had a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was an usher at Notre Dame football games and a WWII enthusiast.
