Arthur V. Jones

Arthur V. Jones, 56, of Elkhart, died at 10:30 am on October 22, 2010 at home. He was born February 23, 1954 in Elkhart to C. Vinson and Frances (Kuehm) Jones. On May 19, 1979 in Elkhart he married Patricia A. Thrams in Elkhart.

She survives along with a son Martin E. (Shane) Lanphere, 2 grandsons, Brayden and Dillon Lanphere, all of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, and his parents, Vince and Fran Jones of Elkhart.

Arthur worked for 20 years as a woodworker in management and tooling for American Millwork, and later had a career in sales. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was involved with Pay it Forward. He graduated with the class of 1972 from Elkhart High School and attended Tri-State University.

A private memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School or Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
