Barbara Ann Viars

Barbara Ann Viars, 76 of Bristol, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Elkhart Hospice House.

She was born Jan. 24, 1940 in South Point, Ohio to Charles E. and Katherine (Truesdell) Carrico. She married Linsey “Ray” Viars on Oct. 24, 1959. Her husband Ray survives along with a daughter, Pamela (William) Lewis and a son, Richard Viars both of Bristol; 3 grandchildren, David (Jo Branson) Humphrey, Lindsay (Nathan Schneider) Bontrager and Emilee (Dylan) Hurst; 1 great-grandson, Wyatt Hurst; 2 brothers, Earl and John; 4 sisters, Linda, Susan, Lisa and Sandra and a sister-in-law, Judy Truesdell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff and her parents.

Barbara retired as a machine operator for Lapeer Fabricators in Lapeer, MI. She loved cooking, gardening, baseball and Elvis Presley music.
