Beatrice A. Daggett

Beatrice A. Daggett, 96 of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 at the Elkhart Hospice House.

She was born Dec. 30, 1918 in Sturgis, MI to Henry M. and Mamie Lee (Crane) Ankney. She married Frank E. Daggett on Aug. 16, 1969. He died on Oct. 25, 2009. Surviving are her children, Dean (Barbara) Daggett, Donn (Sally) Daggett and Lynn (Roger) Nunn; grandchildren, Mark (Sarah) Daggett, Brooke and Caitlin Nunn; 1 sister, Bertha Bowdish and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 6 brothers.

Bea had worked at the Style Shop in Elkhart for many years and loved to sew. She was a “mother” to many people.

A memorial service will be at 10 am Friday, Oct. 2nd at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Fr. Jason Freiburger will officiate. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN at a later date.
