Betty L. Dinkledine

Betty L. Dinkledine, 82 of Dade City, Florida, formerly of Elkhart, passed away May 11, 2008 at her home.

She was born September 4, 1925 in Bourbon, IN to Raymond and Goldia (Hershberger) Brock and married Dale L. Dinkledine on April 25, 1947 in Bremen. He survives with 2 daughters, Jill (Dennis) Hendrix of Elkhart and Nancy (Douglas) Weber of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 1 son, Thomas (Susan) Dinkledine of Russiaville, IN, 7 grandchildren and 1 brother, Carl (Martina) Brock of Titusville, FL. A brother, Dale Brock preceded in death.

Mrs. Dinkledine worked at Excel Corp. and later co-owned with her husband, Dinkledine Appliance Sales and Service in Elkhart. She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church and enjoyed quilting, gardening and going to garage sales.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1200 N. Michigan St. Elkhart. Reverend Catherine Koziatek will officiate. A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday at Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethel United Methodist Church.
