Beverly A. Bachman

Beverly Ann Bachman, 90 of Elkhart, passed away Oct. 6, 2014 at Eastlake Terrace. She was born April 17, 1924 in Omaha, NE to Julius and Agnes (Popisil) Frish. She married Ray L. Bachman on July 12, 1953 in Omaha. He died on Feb. 27, 2002. Surviving are a son, Steve (Julie) Bachman of Elkhart; 4 grandchildren, Wesley, Alyssa, Dan and Leah; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Janet Franks of Omaha, twins, Delores Regner of Omaha and Doris Eymann of Eagle, NE and Shirley Ploughman of Omaha and a brother, Julius (Judy) Frish of Slidell, LA. She was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Knobelauch.

Beverly had lived in Omaha, NE and Clinton, IA before moving to Elkhart in 1965. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed lifelong friendships from her Simonton Lake neighborhood.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 9th from noon to 1:30 pm at the Korisko-Larkin-Staskiewicz Funeral Home, in Omaha, NE where services will be held at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at the Bohemian Cemetery, Omaha. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Elkhart at a later date.
