Beverly S. Moore

Beverly S. Moore, 72 of Elkhart, IN. passed away May 19, 2014 at home. She was born on Aug. 16, 1941 in Huntington County, IN. to Harold and Marguerite (Sheerer) Burton. She married Kay R. Moore on May 1, 1960 in Albion, IN.

He survives along with a son, Starke Moore of Pittsburg, PA., 2 daughters, Darcy Sommerfield of Goshen, IN. and Stacey (Peter) Humbaugh of Haubstadt, IN., 5 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 3 brothers, Jerry Burton of Dade City, FL., Robert Burton of Garland, TX. and Gene Burton of Tampa, FL. and 2 sisters, Joyce Wolf of Elkhart and Tammy (Mark) Hines of Nappanee, IN.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, May 24th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor John Hickey will officiate. Burial will follow at The Sweet Cemetery in Albion, IN.

Mrs. Moore retired from River Oaks OB/GYN after 27 years working in the office. She loved to garden and read.
