Burton S. Westerhoff, Sr.

Burton S. Westerhoff, Sr., age 30, of Silver Lake, IN passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 with his family by his side at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Burton was born to Ernest James Westerhoff and Christina Kilgore on August 15, 1991 in South Bend, IN.

Burton is survived by his children Korvin Westerhoff, Kayne Westerhoff, Karter Westerhoff and Burton S. Westerhoff, Jr., all of Pennsylvania; his mother Christina Kilgore of Elkhart, IN; his father Ernest James (Dawn) Westerhoff of Pennsylvania; siblings Christopher Mollette of Indiana, Matthew (Ashleigh) Mollette of Michigan, Reina (Randy) Davis of Indiana, Ernest Westerhoff, Jr. of Indiana, Thomas  Mollette and Timothy  (Trenton Hancock) Mollette of Indiana; grandparents Harvey and Stella Kilgore of Elkhart, IN., Ashley Gentry the mother of Burt’s children, and step-mother Lynette Mollette. Burt was preceded in death by his step-fathers Tom Mollette and Dustin Carr and his paternal grandparents Nicolas and Judith Westerhoff.

Building things, crafting and landscaping were some of Burt’s favorite things to do along with spending time with his family. He loved his boys and their mother with all his heart and soul. He enjoyed fishing with his step-father, Tom. He loved playing video games with his siblings.
