Carol A. Hartranft

Carol A. Hartranft, 72 of Elkhart, passed away Sunday July 14, 2013 at 2:40 pm at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 18, 1941 in Austin, Minnesota to LeRoy F. and Mary K. (Frayser) Williams. She married Jack N. Hartranft on Sept. 22, 1967 in South Dakota. He survives with 4 children, Sarah (Bill) Puida of Portland, CT and Sandra (Randall) Culbreth of Alvin, TX, Frank (Julie) Hartranft of Plymouth MN, Jennifer Fritzler of Mound, MN,; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Lowell (Kathleen) Williams of Apple Valley, MN and 1 sister, Karen (Warren) Westphal of Minneapolis, MN, and several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Moorehouse.

Carol retired as the Customer Service Manager for Kohl’s Dept. Store in Goshen after 14 years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday July 20, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3415 Pleasant Plain, Elkhart. Bishop Deed Pendell will officiate.

Memorials may be given to the Center for Hospice Care.
