Bristol- Carole "Sue" (Welter) Hull, a life time resident of the Elkhart area, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 25th in Key Largo, Florida while enjoying the warm winter weather with family and friends.
Born In 1940 in Indianapolis, IN, to Paul and Daisy (Reynolds) Welter, Sue graduated from Elkhart High School in 1958. She first married Jim Mann and then later married Roger J.Hull, on October 6, 1990.
Sue started her Sales career with PDH Office Supply and remained in that industry for over 25 years. Throughout her career she always found time and took great joy in entertaining her family, friends and clients. When Sue finally retired in 2009, she didn't slow down. Between her volunteer work with Hospice, Sorority and Fund Raisers, she never ran out of time to help others and was most giving with her time and love. Sue loved more, lived more and gave unselfishly her whole life. She loved people and never knew a stranger. Her love for adventure was never ending. Her traveling, biking, hiking, walking, snow boarding, skiing, roller blading and pontoon cruising only gave her the avenue to be with friends and family, who usually couldn't keep up with her. On her 70th birthday she walked more than 70 miles with one of her traveling companions, Lois Bostian, to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation and to prove that age was only a state of mind. There has never been a better wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt or friend with such a contagious smile, lighting up any room she walked in with love and laughter.
She is survived by husband, Roger J. Hull; son, Mike Mann and fiancee, Rene Watson of Wakarusa, Ind.; daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Ken Morgan of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kelly Mann, of Elkhart, Ind; daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Jeff Michel of Middleton, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Hull and Chris McCollum of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Ed and Willy Welter of Elkhart, Ind; eight grandchildren, Brandy Mann, Derek Mann, Olivia Mann of Elkhart, Ind.; Hayley Price, Shannon Price and Amedee Michel of Middletown, Ohio and Brandon Morgan and Jennifer Morgan of Lexington, Kentucky, two great grand-children, Mila Morgan and Isabella Duckworth, of Lexington, Kentucky; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
