Charles E. Bryan

Charles E. Bryan, 77 of Bristol, passed away March 4, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born, May 31, 1936 in Metropolis, IL to Roscoe and Mary (Taylor) Bryan. Surviving are a daughter, Gail (Ernie) Soullier of Ft. Myers, FL; 2 sons, Joe (Karen) Bryan of Elkhart and Richard (Susan) Bryan of Jones, MI; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a brother, Jim (Jeanette) Bryan of Santa Maria, CA and the mother of his children, Carol Bryan of Elkhart. He is also survived by an adopted son, Duncan (Maria) Mukeku and their 3 children of Troy, MI, originally from Kenya. He was preceded in death by a daughter Rita Lynn Bryan and his parents.

Chuck retired as an investor and developer. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, traveling, and his family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 9th, 2014 from 2-6 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, where services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, March 10th. Pastor Dave Hills will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Street Cemetery.
