Charles Roger Smith

Charles “Chuck” Roger Smith, 78 of Bristol, IN formerly of Sarasota, FL passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Esther’s House Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart, IN, with his family by his side. Chuck was born on February 10, 1946 to Roscoe R. and Geraldine (Hoover) Smith. He married Kimberly Nafrady in December of 1990.

Chuck graduated from Central High School. He began his career in the RV industry. He retired from Dream RV in Bradenton, FL as a RV service manager. Chuck never met a stranger; he enjoyed conversations with people or as some might say story telling. When he wasn’t spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Chuck will be sadly missed.

Chuck is survived by his wife Kim of over 34 years; children Kent Lee (Mary) Smith of Union, MI., Kevin (Pat) Smith of South Bend, IN., Jerri Lynn (Craig) of Texas; grandchildren, Brandon (Kelsey) Smith, Jessica (Jake) Reno, Kevin Patrick “KP (Breanna) Smith, Chase (Danya) Smith, Kameron Charles Smith, Jennifer (Simon) Koscielski, Scott Smith and great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe R. Smith; mother, Geraldine Christman, his siblings, William Smith, Pat McClelland, Roscoe Ray Smith, Gail Pariso, Keith Smith, Darroll Smith and Vivian Mason.
