Christian D. Dicke

Christian David Dicke, 28 of Elkhart, Indiana died January 23, 2010 at 1:08 P.M. at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on October 3, 1981 in Piqua, Ohio to Terry D. and Pat (Schappert) Dicke.

They survive along with a brother, Brian of Los Angeles, California; grandparents, Dale and Katherine Dicke and Walter & Joanne Schappert both of Defiance, Ohio; Aunts & Uncles, Jeff (Jan) Drake M.D. of St. Louis, Missouri, Tom S. Dicke Phd of Springfield, Missouri, Suz (Dale) Omori of Cleveland, Ohio, Julie Rogers of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cindy (Ron) Brown, Kathy (Mark) Homier, Deb (Dave) Engel, Angie (Randy) Vogel, Nick Schappert all of Defiance, Ohio, Terry Schappert of Charlotte, North Carolina and Wes (Michelle) Schappert of Nashville, Tennessee.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1405 North Main Street, Elkhart with Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Dicke worked for Advantage Truck Accessories in Elkhart. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, loved to write, play guitar and was an avid runner. He also enjoyed things pertaining, but not limited to, humor, funny things, and growing unnecessarily thick beards.
