Cinthia Elaine Hess

Cinthia Elaine Hess, 54, of Elkhart, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at her home.

She was born Sept. 25, 1956 in Goshen to William R. and Gloria L. (Rink) Hossler. Surviving are a son, Matthew Allen Hess, granddaughter, Zadie Sue Hess, her father, William Hossler, a brother Richard (Karen) Hossler and a sister Nathalie Hossler all of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her mother.

Cinthia earned her B.A. in journalism from I.U. Bloomington and was a tax preparer for H & R Block Co. She previously worked for the Elkhart Housing Authority for 20 years. She enjoyed crafts, reading, writing poetry and her beloved dog Angel.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart. Cremation will follow visitation.
