Cleo P. Pickley

October 5, 1918 — February 4, 2013

Cleo P. Pickley, 94, of Elkhart, passed away Monday Feb. 4 at Sanctuary at St. Pauls in South Bend.

She was born Oct. 5, 1918 in Illinois to Grover and Rosie (Simpson) Dance.
On Aug. 9, 1947 in Elkhart she married Leonard “Bud” Pickley who preceded her in death on May 1, 2011.

Surviving are two sons Leonard (Vicky) Pickley of Decatur, IL and James (Vicky) Pickley of Mishawaka; 2 grandchildren Michele (Kris) Hyden and Paul (Ami) Pickley and 4 great-grandchildren; Stela and Adeline Hyden and Cole and Morgan Pickley.
She was preceded in death by 6 brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be 6 to 8pm on Friday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart with a rosary at 5:45pm. Services will be at 10:30 am Saturday at the funeral home with Fr. Bob VanKempen officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.

Cleo was a bookkeeper for Elks Country Club for 15 years and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bristol.
