Dana M. Alter

Dana M. Alter, 55 of Osceola, passed away Sept. 17, 2015 at the Elkhart Hospice House.

He was born May 21, 1960 in South Bend to Donald E. and Nellie I. Alter. Surviving are a daughter, Karen (Jorge) Diaz de Leon of Goshen; 3 grandchildren, Ethan, Julia and Joselin Diaz de Leon; 2 brothers, Dallas and David Alter both of Osceola and his father, Donald Alter of Osceola. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark A. Alter and his mother, Nellie Alter.

Dana was a laser technician for Lippert Components and attended Grace Community Church, Goshen.

Visitation for Dana will be from 2-3 pm Monday, Sept. 21st at Meadowood Free Methodist Church, Elkhart, where services will be held at 3 pm. Pastor Steve Newkirk will officiate. Interment will be at Prairie Street Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
