Daniel E. Hibshman

Daniel E. Hibshman, 65, of Middlebury, passed away Tuesday April 6 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born March 6, 1950 in Elkhart to William C. and Elizabeth (Hodson) Hibshman

Dan graduated in 1968 from Concord High School, going on to acquire a psychology degree from Purdue University. Dan was a sports enthusiast and an advocate for The Nature Conservancy and The Sierra Club.
With his mother, Elizabeth, he operated Hibshman Herb and Honey Farm, growing many unusual varieties of perennials and herbs. Dan definitely had a "green thumb" and a love for life and anything that would grow.
Preceeding him in death is brother, William Hibshman, of Union, MI (Merry Schieber). Surviving are brothers Richard Hibshman, of Bristol, IN (Linda) and Benjamin Hibshman of Vancleave, MS (Janie O'Neal).
Nephews Christopher Hibshman, Union, MI,(Donna) Matthew HIbshman, of Union, MI,(Lori) and Josh Hibshman of Bristol, IN, Neices Susan Hibshman, Union, MI,(Ryan) and Kristi Whitmer, Marion, IN..
Dan was a wonderful brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
