Daniel Alva Hunt

Daniel Alva Hunt, 45, of Elkhart passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at U of L Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Daniel was born on October 10, 1977 in Southbridge, MA. He married Nikki Parsons on June 23, 2022.

Daniel honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He was a Local 374 Union Boilermaker welder. He enjoyed working cars and trucks. His favorite time was doing karaoke with his family and friends. He had a wonderful, warm and funny sense of humor. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he will be forever known as “Deebo”.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Nikki Hunt; mom, Tina (Russell, Jr.) Packingham of Elkhart, IN; dad, Phillip (Michelle) Livernois of Southbridge, MA; children, Mikayla Hunt of Michigan City, IN  and Lucas Hunt of Elkhart; step-daughter Kierra Hunt of Elkhart; siblings Larry Filion, Jr. of Elkhart, William Hunt of Oklahoma, Kristen (Adam) Bobst of Indianapolis, IN., Sonia Sweeney of Waterboro, ME., Taylor Packingham of Elkhart and Amber Packingham of Elkhart. Daniel is survived by many aunts, uncles and his grandmother, Arlene Leighton. Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter Felicia M. Hunt and his brother Phillip Livernois, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 11 am – 1pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46154 where funeral services will be held at 1pm.
