Darlene H. Massing

Darlene H. Massing, 74 of Elkhart, passed away April 2, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born October 21, 1939 in Elkhart to Albert H. Glenn and Arlene Wallin. She married Robert E. Massing Sr. on March 18, 2001. He survives along with her children, Albert (Chris) Shaw of Gamaliel, AR, Patrick (Heather) Shaw of Pasadena, CA and Allissa (Robert) Pankratz of Las Vegas, NV; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; Sister, Sueann (Richard) Trowbridge of Elkhart, Step-sister, Jill Davis and Step-brother, Jim Scheidler both of Beacon, IL and her mother, Arlene Scheidler of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Nicole and Christopher Shaw, her brother, Jerry Glenn and her father.

Darlene was a stocker at Wal-Mart since 1995 and previously was purchasing agent in California for 10 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose.

Family and friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday, April 5th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart where services will be at 1 pm. Reverend Mark Dicken will officiate. Burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery.
