Dawn Jene' Johnson

Dawn Jene’ Johnson, 37 of Elkhart, passed away April 24, 2015 at her home.

She was born on Oct. 27, 1977 in Elkhart to Clifford Johnson and Elvira A. (Eutsey) Johnson. Surviving are a daughter, Syriah Johnson of Elkhart, 3 sons, Steven Bates II of Elkhart, Christopher Howard of Niles, MI and Lincoln Reynolds of Birmingham, MI; a sister, Stacie Brown of Clarkston, MI, a brother, Chris Barber of Elkhart, and her father, Clifford (Shirley) Johnson of Mottville, MI. Her mother, Elvira A. Vanderbosch passed away on April 27th and a sister, Tina Johnson preceded her in death.

Dawn graduated from Jimtown High School and was a homemaker.

Family and friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, May 2nd at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, where her funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Cremation will follow services.

Memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
