Deanna J. Shea

Deanna J. Shea,60 of Elkhart, Indiana died October 21, 2008 @ 10:15 A.M. at Valley View Healthcare Center.

She was born on April 25, 1948 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Lawrence V. Shea and Mary Petill.She married Antonio Barrious in 1996 in Topeka, Kansas.He survives along with her mother; Mary McDaniel and a sister, Calita Hammons both of Mishawaka, Indiana; a brother, Donald (Elaine) Shea of Wakarusa, Kansas; sister, Judy (Elmer) Lawson of South Haven, Michigan; sisters, Anita (Jeff) Archie and Patty Tucker both of Elkhart, Indiana; sister, Mary Campbell of Columbia City, Indiana and a sister, Bonnie (Joe) Hoerstman. Several nieces and nephews along with numerous cousins also survive.

Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service which will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Stemm Lawson Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Boulevard, Elkhart. Reverend Jose Martelli will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, Indiana.

Deanna worked for Sears in sales for several years. She also spent many years in the hospitality business. She self taught herself Spanish, was an excellent cook, loved to crotchet, enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and family and friends.
