Debbie Joy Holley

Debbie Joy (Ramsey) Holley, 57, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away June 28, 2011.
She was born February 16, 1954 in Mishawaka, Indiana. In 1995, Debbie was the third woman to receive her General Contractor’s license in the State of Arizona and together with her husband, Mike, started a successful repair and remodeling company specializing in manufactured homes as Holley Home Improvement, working throughout the southwest.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell Ramsey and Edna Geneva (Campbell) Ramsey of Tennessee, and sister Diana Jean Ramsey of South Bend. Debbie is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Michael Lee Holley; adored daughters, Amber Lynn Holley (Job Watson) of Cottonwood, and Angela Marie (Holley) Santa (Carmen Santo), of Browns Mills, New Jersey; precious grandchildren Gabriel Holley-Madden, 8, of Arizona; Charles Roberts, 11, of New Jersey, Jasmine Roberts, 10, of New Jersey, and Steven Santo, 5, of New Jersey; treasured sister, Nina Lynn (Ramsey) Jernigan, of Denver, Colorado; cherished nephews Phillip Perkins II, of Virginia, Drew Everett Perkins, of Texas, Steven Ott of Indiana, Michael Hinrichs of Colorado; most loved sister-in-law Betty Sue “Betsy” (Holley) Sheridan (Cody) of South Carolina, dearest nephew and niece, Craig Pawling of Indiana and Tracy Swygert of South Carolina. Debbie leaves behind numerous life-long loving friends and co-workers across the USA and will be truly missed and mourned for a life-time by all whose lives she touched.

Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 6 to 8pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11am. Debbie Joy Holley will be interred alongside her parents and sister at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in the Knights of Columbus Garden. Please do not send flowers to Debbie’s home in Arizona.
