Deborah A. Edwards

Deborah A. “Debbie” Edwards, 55 of Elkhart, died July 7, 2011 at 9:36 pm at her home. She was born August 13, 1955 to Elmer and Helen (Hoffman) Rose in Long Beach, CA. On May 24, 1984 she married James V. Edwards in LasVegas, NV. He died March 29, 2004.

She is survived by a son Todd Edwards of Elkhart; 2 daughters Corinda (Nick) Bello of LaPorte and Diana Raeder Schaefer of Elkhart; 3 grandchildren; a brother Bob Rose of Colorado; and a sister Bobbie Madlem of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Debbie was a homemaker who loved to crochet and spend time with her family.

Visitation will be Monday from 12 – 1 pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart where a memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm. Rev. Tim Diemer will officiate. Burial will be at Rice Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
