Debra J. Shuck

Debra J. Shuck, 55, of Elkhart, died Sunday Jan. 29 at home. She was born June 16, 1956 in Logansport, IN to Paul and Margie (Crain) Muckenfuss. On Feb. 13, 1981 in Logansport she married Chester W. Shuck who survives along with six daughters: Annette (Gabriel) Duran of Elkhart, Crystal Muckenfuss of Elkhart, Kimberly Shuck of Peru, IN, Christi Shuck of Mt. Home, Ark., Elizabeth (David) Scott of Logansport, Catherine Shuck of Bunker Hill, IN., a son John Bashor of Elkhart, a brother John (Tina) Muckenfuss of Lafayette, IN, a sister Betty Jo (Bubba) Tucker of Logansport , 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Paula Shipley and a brother Ronnie Muckenfuss.
Debra graduated from Logansport High School. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid member of Facebook.
Services will be held at 1PM Wednesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart, where friends may call 2 hours prior to the service on Wed. Pastor Brian Baughman of First Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery at a later date.
