Dolores "Dee" Corner

Dolores "Dee" Corner, 85 of Alamogordo, NM, formerly of Elkhart, passed away March 17, 2009 in Casa Arena Blanca Nursing Center, Alamogordo.

She was born July 2, 1923 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Melvin F. and Anna Luella (O'Donnell) DeVaughn and married Melvin Corner on October 8, 1946. Surviving are 4 sons, James Corner of Peru, IN, David Corner of Evansville, IN, Scott Corner of Bedford, IN, Robert Corner of Kissimmee, FL, and a brother, James DeVaughn of Alamogordo, NM.

Mrs. Corner moved from Elkhart to Alamogordo in 1997. She was a volunteer with the foster grandmother program, Elkhart and Zia Therapy Center, Alamogordo.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 4, 2009 ata the Carleton Cemetery in Elkhart.
