Dora N. Halsey

Dora N. Halsey, 85 of Elkhart, IN. passed away April 28, 2013 at 1:05 am at Riverside Village. She was born on Sept. 25, 1927 in Elkhart to Lester and Bertha (Horn) Jones. She married Robert D. Halsey on Oct. 27, 1949 in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1988

Survivors include a son, Robert J. (Maria) Halsey of Goshen, 3 granddaughters, Erica Poppe, Mary and Amy Halsey, 7 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, two sisters, Norma (Danny) LeCount of Michigan and Doris Mann of Mishawaka and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Halsey of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard W. Halsey.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to the funeral service which will be held at 7 pm Tuesday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing. Pastors Toby & Nancy Kidder from River Of Life Church in Elkhart will officiate. Burial will take place at Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.
