Doris Ann (Griffin) Lemons

Doris Ann Lemons, age 67, of Elkhart passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. Doris was born on April 10, 1953 in Portland, Maine to Maurice and Florence Griffin. She married Billy Lemons in Elkhart in 1984.

Doris worked as a nurse’s aide and most recently at Goshen Die Cutting. She enjoyed camping, fishing and crocheting. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Doris is survived by her husband, Billy Lemons of Elkhart, Children, Shannon (Christina) Hicks of Elkhart and Billy Lemons, Jr., of Elkhart; her siblings, Annette (Matthew) Merchant of Maine, Susan (Terry) Timm of Middleville, MI., Thomas (Debbie) Griffin of Homer, MI., Donna Henderson of Heber Springs, AR, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jerry Love of Arkansas and Robert Love of Quincy, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-sons, Johnny Lemons and Randy Lemons; her sisters, Areatha Love and Betty Love.
