Dorothy M. Marlow

Dorothy M. Marlow, 94, of Elkhart passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Elkhart Hospice House.

She was born July 22, 1922 in Angola, IN. She married Paul R. Marlow on Feb. 24, 1940 in Huntington, IN. He passed away on Feb. 4, 1987 in Elkhart, IN.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula (Thomas) Ternet, of Elkhart; 2 Sons: Patrick (Linda) Marlow of Elkhart and Bruce (Diane) Marlow of Elkhart; 13 Grandchildren; 40 Great-Grandchildren;4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Myron Marlow; her twin sister, Doris Thimlar; and 3 brothers, Donald, Robert and Harold McKinley.

She retired from Whitehall Laboratories as a Lab Technician after 30 years. She enjoyed traveling. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and her dog, Taffy.

Friends may visit with the familyfrom 4 pm until the 5:30 PM service Tuesday Mar. 7 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart. Burial will be at 10 AM Wednesday at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial contributions may be given to Elkhart Hospice House.
