Douglas Eric Wise

Douglas Eric Wise, 55 of Bristol, passed away Friday morning at his home unexpectedly.

He was born Feb. 14, 1961 in Elkhart to Wayne E. and Harriet J. (Lee) Wise. Surviving are a daughter, Jessica (Vince) Milligan of Bristol, 3 brothers, Jeff Wise of Elkhart, Steve (Barb) Wise of Bristol and Nick (Lisa) Wise of Elkhart and his mother, Harriet Wise of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his father.

Doug graduated from Westview High School in 1979 and was a forklift operator for Reschcor Inc. in Bristol. He loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed the outdoors, nature, and his dog “Dodge”.

Visitation for Doug will be from 3-7 pm Tuesday, Jan.3rd at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart and an hour prior to his funeral service at 11 am Wednesday, Jan. 4th. Pastor John Ware will officiate. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
