Edna M. Koontz

Our beloved Mother passed away peacefully in her sleep October 29, 2016, in D'Iberville, Ms. At the age of 102 years.
She was born in Rochester, In. to Ocea Shaw Grandstaff and Arza Grandstaff. She was raised in Elkhart, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ocea And Melvin Weaver, and Arza Grandstaff. Her sisters Thelma Everts, Evelyn Kennedy and Carol Weaver.

Her husband William Koontz Sr. and one great granddaughter Savannah Calhoun.

She is survived by her sons, William Koontz Jr. (Grace) Michael Koontz (Ruth) and her daughter Stephanie Plummer (Ronnie). She is also survived by her sister Betty Bush and her husband Wilkie, 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Mom had the most beautiful smile, she was a wonderful mother, daughter, wife and grandmother, aunt and friend. She made the most delicious cherry and peach pie that I'm sure we will all remember.

Visitation will be Friday November 4, 2016 10am to 1PM at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, where services will be at 1pm with Pastor Keith McFarren officiating. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.
