Elizabeth Anne Fackelman

Elizabeth Anne Fackelman, 41 of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

She was born June 11, 1975 in Elkhart to Robert and Diana (Disbrow) Fackelman. Surviving are her parents of Elkhart, a sister, Katie (Joe) McCraner of Elkhart and a niece and nephew, Caleb and Madeline McCraner.

Elizabeth graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 1993 and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 1997. She was freshman English teacher at Elkhart Memorial High School. She also was a teacher for 5 years at Cloverdale High School and also taught at Elkhart Central High School.

A gathering of family, friends, students and former students will be from 2-6 pm Sunday, March 5th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
