Estel A. Fisher, 91 of Bristol, Indiana died June 24, 2009 @ 12:05 P.M. at Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born November 23, 1917 in Indiana to Mainem & Beulah Fisher. He married Ruth Grove on December 7, 1942. She preceded him in death on July 1, 1987. He then married Luella Aumend on May 17, 1988. She died January, 1994. He then married Mary Jane Wall on October 30, 1995 in Ocala, Florida.
She survives along with three daughters; Susan Fisher of West Lafayette, Indiana, Janice (Gary) Baumgartner of Wabash, Indiana and Marilyn (John) Corbin of Monticello, Indiana, six grandchildren, one great grandson, step grandchildren, three sisters; Doris Garren of Florida, Kate Copeland of Washington and Carol (Bill) Goeghegan of Elizabethtown, Kentucky a stepdaughter, Karlene (Tom) Christianson of Bristol, Indiana and a stepson, Don (Jean) Tavernier of Elkhart. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service which will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Bristol United Methodist Church, 201 South Division Street, Bristol with the Reverend Fred Stayton officiating. Entombment will be at Chapel of Memories, Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
Mr. Fisher retired from the Mobile Home Industry. He started his career at Schult Trailer and later became plant manager for Skyline. He was a member of the church and loved to bass fish and was a White Sox fan.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
