Floyd Albert Williams

Floyd Albert Williams, JR., 65 of Elkhart formerly of Dowagiac, MI. passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Elkhart Meadows. Floyd was born on March 24, 1958 in Reed City, MI to Floyd and Avis Williams. He married Doreen Sheteron on July 31, 1982 at Diamond Cove Missionary Church in Cassopolis, MI.

Floyd worked for Nate and LouAnn Robinson as a farm hand, Elkhart Products as a machinist and Special-Lite where he assembled doors. He enjoyed golfing, softball and tinkering on mowers. His true love was spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

Floyd is survived by his wife of 40 years, Doreen Williams; their sons Alex Williams of Dowagiac, MI and Ryan (Amber) Williams of Warsaw, IN; his grandsons, Ivan, Hans and Theodore; his siblings Frank Williams of Cassopolis, MI., John Williams of Marion, MI and James Williams of MI. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Avis Williams, his bonus parents Carol and Esther Mead, sisters Lois Nelson, Cindy Williams, Rose Wright and his brother Eric Williams.
