Frances M. Bollman, 89 of Elkhart, passed away Dec. 23, 2014 at the Elkhart Hospice House.
She was born Aug. 24, 1925 in Middlebury to Hiram E. and Mary (Yoder) Leer. She married Paul M. Bollman on Sept. 19, 1947 in Middlebury. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1981. Surviving are a son, Phillip (Rebecca) Bollman of Wilson, WY.; 1 brother, Richard M. (Rea) Leer of Three Rivers, MI.; a nephew, Tom (Terri) Leer of Marcellus, MI. and a niece, Tammy ( Paul) Harding of Arizona; Also surviving is her best friend, Dorothy Kelly of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruth Johnson and Mabel Meyers and 4 brothers, Clayton, Thomas, Ira and Stanley Leer.
Frances retired after 40 years from Federal Paperboard Company and volunteered for the Elkhart General Hospital Auxiliary.
She was a member of McCoy Memorial Baptist Church.
Visitation for Frances will be 2 hours prior to the 1pm service on Monday, Dec. 29 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Reverend Raymond Laborde will officiate. Entombment will follow at Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Rice Cemetery.
