Frances C. Pacton

Frances C. Pacton 99, of Elkhart, died Sunday March 4, 2012 at Valley View Healthcare Center, Elkhart.

She was born August 21, 1912 in Michigan City, IN to Steven and Michaline (Tureryenski) Lewandoski and married Charles P. Pacton on July 14, 1927 in New Buffalo, MI. He died on October 19, 1978. Surviving are a daughter Shirley J. Brown of Elkhart, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Greg Pacton and 3 sisters, Mary Skierkowski, Helen Dombrowski and Lucille Pahlski.

Frances was a homemaker and liked to sew. She was a wonderful seamstress.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart. A Graveside service will be at 12 pm (EST) at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City. Rev. Karen Bray will officiate.
