Frances W. Roose, 96 of Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation
Center, Elkhart died August 21, 2010 @ 9:05 A.M. at the nursing home. She was born on August 1, 1914 in Elkhart, IN. to Frank and Bessie (Grove) Baylor. She married William S. Roose on October 3, 1932 in Goshen, IN. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1994.

Surviving are a son, William F. (Wanda) Roose, two daughters, June Mabie and Joan (Dallas) Weaver all of Elkhart; 9 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Robert and Franklin Baylor and a sister, Charlene Lichtenberger.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola with Dr. Mike Wills of Central Christian Church officiating. A private family viewing will be held at 9:30 A.M at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing.

Mrs. Roose worked for 17 years as a home demonstrator for Boremans Hardware. She was a member of Central Christian Church. Eastern Star # 181 and the Leitner Home Association in Bonita Springs, FL.
