Fred Roberts

Fred Roberts, 80 of Edwardsburg, MI. passed away Nov. 5, 2013 at home.
He was born on July 2, 1933 in Lehart Falls, OH. to Fred and Mabel (Geyer) Roberts Sr. He married Aletha Ermal Martin on Aug. 16, 1969 in Bremen, IN.
She preceded him in death on July 9, 2011.

Survivors include 3 sons; Donald (Patti) and Michael (Diana) Smead both of Elkhart and Michael (LaDonna) Roberts of Frankfort, IN., 3 daughters; Sylvia Alg of Elkhart, Denene Roberts of Chicago, IL. and Michelle (David) Wilson of Portsmouth, OH., 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren, 1 brother, John (Marie) Roberts of Flagstaff, AZ. and 1 sister, Gladys Carrell of Columbus, OH. and his fiancée, Juanita Wilson of Wakarusa, IN. Two sons, Daniel Roberts and James E. Smead preceded him in death.

Friends may call two hours prior to the 1 PM funeral service Saturday Nov. 9 at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral and Cremation Center. Pastor Joe Rager will officiate. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Roberts worked for the past 30 years in the RV industry and was currently employed at Foamcraft in Elkhart. He attended the 3 Cross Ministries in Elkhart, loved to fish and listen to country music. He was a
