Gerald H. Welbaum

Gerald H. Welbaum, 86, of Bank Street, Elkhart, passed away December 19, 2007.

He was born to Luther and Mildred (Hassan) Welbaum and married Maxine Flynn on May 12, 1967 in Elkhart. She survives with 3 step-daughters, Bonnie Reese and Sherri DuCharme of Cassopolis, MI, Sue Wolgamood of Elkhart, a step-son, Ray (Leslie) Flynn of Middlebury, 12 step-grandchildren and 24 step-great-grandchildren. A grandson, Mark Trumpower and a sister Maureen Preble preceded in death.

Mr. Welbaum retired as a courier for First National Bank and previously worked for Ziesel Bros. as a receiving clerk and Morris Cleaners. He was a member of the American Legion # 210 Middlebury and the DAV# 19, Elkhart. He enjoyed bingo and his family.
