Greg Thomas Mueller

Greg Thomas Mueller, 36, of Bristol, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born April 18, 1975 to John H. and Joye M. (Schember) Mueller Sr. in Clinton, Iowa and married Denise R. Schneider on Jan. 16, 1999 in Elkhart. She survives with 3 children, Taylor, Madison and Jordan all at home, 1 brother, Jay (Margie) Mueller of Fulton, IL, 2 sisters Paula Mueller of Fairfax, VA and Tricia (Garrick) Lankford of Elkhart; Parents, John and Joye Mueller of Clinton, Iowa; Maternal grandparents, Paul and Avis Schember of Farmville, VA, Paternal grandmother, Helen Mueller of Clinton, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

Greg graduated from Clinton (Iowa) High School and attended the University of Northern Iowa and Clinton Community College. He was a supervisor for Mor-Ryde in Elkhart and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed bowling and was in a men’s league. He was an avid Hawkeye fan, and liked riding motorcycles and boating. He helped coach his son’s little league baseball team.

Family and friends may call from 3 – 7 pm Thursday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home at Cobblestone Crossing, Elkhart where a memorial service will be at 7 pm. His brother-in-law, Pastor Kevin Schneider will officiate. Burial will take place at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa on Saturday.
