Hazel V. Roske

Hazel V. Roske, 95 of Middlebury, passed away on Tuesday, May 2nd at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her sons.

She was born April 23, 1922 in Elkhart to Howard and Erma (Hitesman) Miller. She married Richard Frank Roske Sr. on June 26, 1943 in Ft. Sill, OK. He died on Dec. 19, 1997. Surviving are 2 sons, Richard F. (Patricia) Roske Jr. of Elkhart and Howard E. (Sabrina) Roske of Bristol; 4 grandchildren, Shari Warlick, Eric Roske, Kelly Bennett and Katlin Roske; 7 great-grandchildren and a brother, Samuel (Marla) Eby of Elkhart.

Hazel graduated from Elkhart High School and retired from Henry Weiss Company as a computer operator. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bristol and Women of the Moose in Elkhart.

Family and friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm on Monday, May 8th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where a service in her honor will begin at 1 pm. Reverend Robert VanKempen will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
