Jack A. Lough

August 29, 1932 — October 17, 2012

Jack A. Lough, 80, of Elkhart passed away Wednesday at Hospice House of Elkhart.
He was born Aug. 29, 1932 in Marcellus, MI to John E. and Mary Etta (Frank) Lough.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm Friday and one hour prior to the 11am service Saturday at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart . A Celebration of Life will follow the service at the Lerner Theatre Center in Elkhart.

Jack graduated in 1950 from Elkhart High School and retired from CTS Corp. after 33 years of service. He was a member of the CTS Quarter Century Club, enjoyed playing softball and golf and was an avid Notre Dame fan! Jack was Mr. Mom before his time as he worked days and Phyllis worked nights.

On Jan 12, 1952 in Elkhart he married Phyllis Krichbaum who survives along with 4 Daughters: Connie (Walter) Ainsworth of Helena, MT, Diane (James) Hogstrom of McHenry, IL, Karen (Robert) Combs of Orlando, FL, and Sharon (Edward) LaBeau of Elkhart, 2 sons: Brian R. Lough of Muncie, IN and Michael (Theresa) Lough of Raleigh, NC, 14 grandchildren, 7 Great-grandchildren, brother: Richard (Martha) Lough of Danville, KY , 2 sisters Barbara Lough of Ellentown, FL and Marilyn Krueger of Indianapolis, sisters-in-law JoAnne Lough of Venice, FL. and Virginia Lough of Bristol, IN. and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and a sister and her husband Shirley Jean (Donald) Deisler, brothers Robert and David Lough and brother–in-law John Krueger

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation or Hospice House of Elkhart.
