Jacob "Scott" Sailor

Jacob “Scott” Sailor, 29 of Goshen, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was born March 15, 1984 in Elkhart to Stephen G. and Glenda R. (Reaves) Sailor. He married Adrienne J. Miller on June 28, 2008. She survives with a daughter, Ella at home; also surviving are 2 sisters, Stephanie (Jason) Lancaster of Columbus, IN and Kate (Michael) Gilpin of Edwardsburg, MI; his parents, Steve and Glenda Sailor of Elkhart, In-laws, Jerry and Theresa Miller of Goshen and brother-in-law Josh Miller of Goshen.

Scott graduated from Elkhart Central High School in 2002 and was a stay at home dad and was an active member of the Goshen Church of Christ, where he taught Bible School class. He was an avid Notre Dame and New England Patriots fan. He had a contagious laugh and he loved to write and draw.

Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Church of Christ, 61073 State Road 15, Goshen. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to help with the care of Ella, medical and funeral expenses.
