Janice D. Lahey

Janice D. Lahey, 62 of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka after a sudden illness.
She was born Nov. 20, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Claire (Sturtz) Rogers. She married Patrick J. Lahey on Sept. 27, 1974 in Toledo. He survives along with a son, Kevin Lahey of South Bend, 2 daughters, Deanna (Aaron Hanshe) Aumack and Rebecca (Christopher) Price both of Elkhart; 7 grandchildren and a brother, Daniel (Kathy) Rogers of Columbus, OH. She was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Rogers and her parents.
Janice retired as chef for Camp Tamarack in Mottville, Michigan and enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and enjoying retirement.
Visitation for Janice will be from 4-8 pm Friday, Nov. 25th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at 3:45 pm Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at the funeral home with Father Robert VanKempen officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
